Kit Background:  Model of the proto-type version the German Panther ausf. F  in 1/72 scale.
Kit Content:  Colorful box art of one vehicle.  Four page instruction sheet with color photo assembly but  no about the vehilce iteself..  Thin decal markings and paint scheme for one vehicle.   Three sprues of styrene parts (with unused spares).  Two (2) hull die-cast metal parts.   Very flexible one-piece vinyl tracks with excellent cleat and guide horn detail.  One particular part that catches the eye is the engine compartment.  Its done in a one-piece surface relief part (can you say dry-brushing).   One piece gun barrel.   Sprues molded in light grey styrene.
Modeler's Summary:  This Panther F has the potential to make a really nice small scale kit if it weren't for
the die-cast hull parts.  I am not a fan of metal parts other than photo-etch.   They have nice detail but any modification will require a Dremel tool with a cutter bit.  The decals are well done as they are thin and not off-centered when they were printed.  Application will be the test as to how easy it will be to apply them to the model.   Over-all a very nicely tooled and scale-dimensioned kit.  The spare parts (i.e, gun barrels) are nice to have for other uses.  On -par with Revell.  Price is less expensive than Revell.
