IHS Stage Lighting System

The main stage at IHS is equipped with a single rack of 96 Electro Controls quad-pack dimmers, rated at 2.4KW each.  At present, a number of these dimmers are inoperative, with replacement anticipated sometime in 2009.  Please contact the Theatre Manager at the link below for additional information on the current status of the dimming system.

The dimming system has been adapted to accept DMX control, with a 5-way isolated splitter located in the control booth.  Four outputs of this splitter are available for control of temporary or portable equipment added to the system.

The Theatre has 4 EDI Scrimmer Stiks in inventory.  These are quad 600W portable dimmer packs which accept DMX control and can be located as needed throughout the space.

The primary lighting control console is an EDI Bijou, equipped with 48/96 channel faders (2/1 scene control), as well as full cue-to-cue memory and a 24 fader, 288 memory submaster section.  Please visit the EDI web page for full specifications, a manual download, or off-line editing software for this console.

Backup control is provided by a Windows XP computer running Horizon 98 lighting control software.  Information on this control system is available here.
